ABOUT

Kia ora, I'm Anna Rose. I'm a renaissance man; providing creative consultancy to brands, exhibiting as a conceptual artist and contributing to decentralised communities.

I work with organisations to unpack the complex needs of humans and the more-than-human world, turning these findings into innovative campaigns and cultural change. With close to twenty years experience in creative roles, I also freelance as a Creative Director leading teams to build culturally attuned and innovative campaigns.

 

Working with the world’s best loved brands and award-winning agency teams I’ve delivered a 3D-printed whisky glass that works in zero gravity, a museum to destigmatize period pain and a mixed reality bar where flavours can be “tasted” with all five senses. A lot of my most recognised work uses technology to imagine a future with better vibes.

 

Exhibiting as a contemporary artist, I explore the boundaries between bodies and machines. I’ve also challenged pervasive-colonial thinking through a 52-episode podcast about immigrants from the Commonwealth to the UK, and a series of browser based works about my own Pākeha ancestry.
